Returns & Exchanges

At Eric Dean Art Gallery & Photography, every original piece is created, handled, and shipped with the highest level of care. Because each work of art is one-of-a-kind, all sales are considered final and non-refundable, with limited exceptions outlined below.

1. Final Sale Policy

All sales of original artwork and photography are final. Each piece is thoroughly documented and insured at the time of sale and shipment. Ownership transfers once the artwork is delivered and signed for by the buyer or their designated recipient.

2. Cooling-Off Period & Buyer’s Remorse

We understand that purchasing fine art can be a significant and emotional decision. If a “cooling-off” period results in buyer’s remorse, returns may be accepted only under the following strict conditions:

  • The artwork must be returned in the exact pristine condition in which it was sold and shipped.
  • 50% restocking fee will be deducted from the original purchase price.
  • The buyer must notify us in writing within 14 days of delivery to request a return authorization.

Approval for a return is at the sole discretion of Eric Dean Art Gallery & Photography.

3. Return Shipping Costs

All return shipping and insurance costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We strongly recommend that buyers use an insured and trackable shipping method. The gallery is not responsible for lost or damaged returns.

4. Refund Processing

Once the returned artwork is received and inspected, approved refunds (less the 50% restocking fee) will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days.

5. Damaged Artwork

In the rare event that artwork arrives damaged, please immediately report the damage to the shipping vendor or carrier for insurance purposes. This step is essential to initiate the insurance claim process. After notifying the carrier, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:

  • Clear photographs of the damaged artwork and packaging,
  • The shipment tracking number, and
  • A brief description of the issue.

We will assist in coordinating the claim with the shipping provider to ensure the matter is resolved promptly and appropriately.
