At Eric Dean Art Gallery & Photography, every artwork is handled with professional care and attention to ensure it arrives safely and in pristine condition. Because each piece is unique and may vary in size, weight, and value, shipping and insurance costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
1. Buyer Responsibility
All buyers are responsible for covering the full cost of shipping, handling, and insurance. We provide an estimate during checkout or upon inquiry and confirm the final cost prior to shipment.
2. Shipping Flexibility
We offer flexible shipping options:
- Buyers may choose to ship using our preferred carriers (such as UPS, FedEx, or USPS).
- Alternatively, buyers may use their own preferred shipping provider or freight company.
We will coordinate packaging and pickup to ensure the artwork is safely transferred to the chosen carrier.
3. Insurance Coverage
All shipments must be insured for their full purchase value. Insurance costs are the buyer’s responsibility, whether using our carrier or theirs. We can assist in arranging coverage or documentation if needed.
4. Packaging and Handling
Every piece is inspected and professionally packaged using protective materials suitable for fine art transport. Larger or more delicate works may require custom crates or additional protective layers.
5. Processing and Handling Time
Standard preparation time is 5–10 business days after payment is confirmed. Custom or commissioned artwork may take longer depending on completion and framing.
6. Payment and Delivery Arrangements
We accept major payment methods for both artwork and shipping costs. If a buyer prefers to arrange payment directly with their chosen carrier or freight service, we will accommodate that upon request.
7. Domestic and International Shipping
We ship throughout the United States and internationally upon request. For international orders, buyers are responsible for all customs duties, VAT, and import fees. Delivery timelines vary by destination and shipping method.
8. Damage and Claims
If a shipment arrives damaged:
- Photograph the packaging and item immediately.
- Keep all packaging materials.
- Notify us within 7 days at hello@hostmuch.com with your order details and photos.
We will assist in coordinating with the carrier or insurance provider to help resolve the issue promptly.
9. Address Verification
Please ensure all shipping details are accurate before final confirmation. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the buyer or their shipping agent.
